Happy Valentines day everyone!

I hope you have a wonderful day and make lovely memories!

With or without a Valentine~

try to have a nice day~!

I thought I'd post a couple things I had

lying around [in my computer..]

First up I found this picture from

a couple of months ago and realised how

much I want my fringe to be straight

across and full-looking again.

That will just require a session in front

of the mirror with scissors...no big deal ^^'

Something went wrong with my photo

editing software and more of my face

was covered with hearts than initially intended ^^'

The above outfit consists of:

A simple cardigan from H&M

[it's like age 11 I've had it for almost a decade]

A puffy scarfy thing which actually

came off of another piece I bought from "Bukhara"

in Chelsea...it's great for feminine and

Liz Lisa-ish gyaru-style clothes~

Plenty of lace & victorian style collars/sleeves~

The dress is from Camden market.

& the shoes are UGGS which were a gift.

I also thought I'd store and share this video on

how I always have my eye-liner..

I don't wear it every time I go out...

It's something extra I do sometimes when my eyes feel too *bald* lol

Or in the evenings...but then it's often

accompanied by false eyelashes too

I actually suck at makeup... I'm pretty good at foundation...

Not eye makeup, ect though..

This is the only trick I have!

I've noticed that many girls apply eye-liner

[usually liquid-liner] to their upper eyelids

flicking out upwards from the outer corners at the top

and it looks really nice...

But for some reason when I try that it looks awful!

and much better when I use a powder

and eye-liner brush to do it on my lower lid

and the outer corners of my eyes heading downwards or straight out

rather than up.

I wonder if it's because it gives my eyes

a more semicircular and expressionate look...

I don't know.. flicking up though...no way...

I finally started using Google Friends Connect

and am starting to properly follow more of those

amazing blogs out there~

I even gained some followers in the process...

Hello~!

In case it's not really obvious..

I'm pretty into writing letters/penpal-ing & have been

for the past couple of years

I think most of my interest in it sprung from

my love for fancy/cute stationery..

But also my interest in other cultures

and how people in other countries or places live

Now that 365 Days and the JLPT exam are over

my blog shall return to normal~

Starting with this report on my real-life inbox of

hand-written letters!

To summarise, this is what all of the letters

I spent the last day of 2011 visiting

a cute town, guess what,

only 25 minutes from where I live near Catford [SE London]

...I literally couldn't believe that 9 miles

away there's a place like this.....

I mean come on...just look at that "GENT'S HAIRDRESSERS"!

it's straight out of the 50s!!

This place is called Farningham.....

such a nice place to escape to...and so nearby too.

I bought 3 fascinating books for

£2 from that book shop~

and had a drink and some crisps in the pub,

I'm english again *tear* lmao....

deffo dragging Rosa down there

whether she likes it or not.

Christmas time:

I enjoyed Christmas as much as I could~

saw some of my cousins and family and bonded with them

properly for the first time in ages...

I learned the biggest lesson of my life....

and got many lovely presents ♥

it's absolutely freezing where I work....

to the extent that a waterbottle is necessary.

= = need to wear layer apon layer and leave the house

I had an idea to rescue some of my rulers which

I don't use by decorating them with all the

cute deco pieces I had lying around..~

I did it by hand using the strongest glue I know.....

they are sturdy but I would reccomend keeping

them on a desk or surface for use rather than

throwing them around just in case.....

although they're fairly robust....

I will be selling them and hopefully more in the future~
